Daniel Lee Janus

Born in Springfield, Il. on April 24 1965, departed on September 17, 2011

Danny was the son of Daniel John and Linda Lee Jaeger Janus. Danny was a member of Westminister Presbyterian Church and the Braveheart horseback riding club. He graduated from District 186 and enjoyed horseback riding, basketball and bowling. He was very patriotic, loved to joke and was a joy to his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel and his grandparents, Leon and Marie Jaeger and John and Myrtle Janus

He is survived by his mother Linda Lee Janus, of Springfield; sister, Anne-Marie (husband, Jeff) Thrasher of Ormond Beach, FL.; two brothers, Mark Janus of Springfield and Todd (wife, Peggy) Janus of Des Moines, IA and his nieces and nephews, Amy, David. Maire and Betsy Janus and Andrew Thrasher.

Evelyn Dufner (1919 - 2010)

Evelyn Dufner was born March 4, 1919 in Nilewood, IL to Frank and Leona Dufner. She passed away on October 24, 2010.

Evelyn attended Sparc's Developmental Training program since 1979 and later moved into a Sparc group home in 1984. She had two brothers and also a nephew, Clarence, who would become her guardian after her parents and brothers all passed away.

Evelyn was a very “fun and spirited” lady. All who knew her found it hard not to love her. She will be greatly missed by all of her staff and roommates
