LIFEMYWAY... ADVOCACY IN ACTION - DISABILITY LEGISLATIVE FORUM

Disability services were inadequate in the ‘80s. They declined in the 90’s. In 2010, they risk imploding. The event is co-hosted by Springfield Mayor Timothy Davlin and Moderated by Ann Ford, Executive Director, INCIL. Senator Larry Bomke, Representative Raymond Poe, and Candidate Kent Delay will be there.

Your attendance is critical!! Recent legislative forums throughout the state drew solid numbers - 150 in Rock Island, 200 in Peoria, 150 in Rockford, and 200 in Champaign. Let’s have an even better turnout in Springfield!

The forum is hosted by SILC, IATP, INCIL, Springfield Center for Independent Living, Sparc, CCDI, and Central Illinois Service Access.

The event will be on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2010 from 5:30 TO 7:00PM at  LINCOLN LIBRARY, 326 South 7th St.  in Springfield.
